When
the subject itself comes again as an object, reflexive pronouns are used. They
end with self/selves. Himself, myself, herself, themselves, etc.
are the examples of reflexive pronouns.

Example:

o    They hurt themselves
when they tripped on the stairs.

o    I told myself not
to waste the valuable time.

We use a reflexive pronoun when we want to refer back to
the subject of the sentence or clause. Reflexive pronouns end in
"-self" (singular) or "-selves" (plural).
