Adverb ( ক্রিয়া বিশেষন ) : যে Word বা শব্দ কোন Verb, Adjective বা অন্য কোন Adverb কে modify করে তাকে Adverb বলে ।

যে adverb কোনকিছু কাজ/ঘটনা কখন/কোন সময়ে ঘটেছে তা বর্ণনা বা উল্লেখ করে তাকে Adverb
of time বলে । এটা sentence এর প্রথমে অথবা শেষে ব্যবহৃত হয় ।
An adverb which tell us when somewhat
is done is called Adverb of time.
It can be used at the opening or the end of a sentence.
Adverbs of time: today, Yesterday, afterward,
always, immediately, last month, now, soon, etc
are common.
Examples:

I
will go to the varsity today.
o
Always speak the truth.
o
I
should go there immediately.
যে adverb কোনকিছু কোথায় বা কোন স্থানে ঘটেছে তা উল্লেখ করে তাকে Adverb of place বলে । এটা verb এর পরে, direct object হিসাবে অথবা sentence এর প্রথমে ব্যবহৃত হয় ।

something is completed or happened is called Adverb of place.
It can be used past the verb as a direct object or at the beginning of a
sentence.
Adverbs of place: above, below, Here,
under, upstairs, there, over there, etc.
Examples:

like to have my lunch here.

I
will go upstairs to see her.

They
are sitting under the tree.

is completed is called Adverb of manner.
Most of these adverbs
have “ly” at its end such as, slowly, happily, quickly, badly,
etc. Fast, hard, well, etc. are also adverbs of manner.
Examples:

work hard to
get a promotion.
o
Inflation badly affected
our economy.
o
I tried to sing well in
the program.

of degree বলে ।

adverb which tells us the level or the coverage that something is complete is
called Adverb of degree.
Adverbs
of degree: So, quite, really, very, too, almost, much, nearly, etc.
Examples:

The book is really interesting.
o
The work is almost done.
o
I am very happy
to hear this good news.

nearly, again, ever, hardly ever, etc.

feel nostalgic while listening to an old song.
