ADVERB OF DURATION or PERIOD

The word which express duration or period is called adverb of duration/period. They are : since, from, till, next, for, last, coming etc.(The test question is since when ?, up to what ?) Uses of adverb of period Examples We didn't stay long at the meeting. There was no news of him for a year. It has been raining since morning. The examinations will be held from March 10 to March 30. There was no light in the whole city till 10 o'clock.
